Client: A leading multinational logistics company specialising in cargo logistics, port terminal operations, maritime services and free trade zones.
Business Need: The client wanted to make their people policies and benefits accessible and clearly understood. They wanted to bring clarity to what’s available to their employees and how they can best leverage the opportunities these policies and benefits represented. Additionally, they sought to build awareness of their presence in India amongst their employees across verticals and subsidiaries fostering stronger connections.
Solution: To address the clients diverse needs, we came up with a multi-faceted solution. Our approach included simplifying complex policies into digestible formats through storytelling, videos, an interactive table-top game, and an email campaign.
Comic book: We transformed each policy into a single-page, relatable story, illustrated with the company’s brand characters. Key points were communicated to bring clarity to what’s available to the employees and how they can best utilise the same. These stories were then compiled into a vibrant comic book, which became a powerful tool for employee empowerment. To ensure higher reach and inclusivity, the book was translated into 7 regional languages.
Videos: To amplify engagement, we converted some of the key policies into dynamic, engaging videos. These videos helped further spread awareness and ensured the policies resonated with a wider audience, creating a memorable learning experience.
Table-top Game: We also designed a creative and interactive table-top game, themed around the map of India, to highlight the company’s expansive reach. This 45-60 minute game involved 25-30 participants in teams, requiring them to navigate across states, solve real-life challenges, and answer multiple-choice questions. Through this game, employees not only learned about the policies and benefits but also explored the company's footprint in India. This game was further adapted as a board game for smaller locations.
Email Campaign: To build excitement and engagement around the entire campaign, we created a series of visually striking e-mailers. These e-mailers sparked curiosity and encouraged employees to participate in the game, while also generating buzz about the comic book.
